Two eight-year-olds can be years apart in reading and in the same place in math. Camber meets each child at their actual developmental level in each area and builds from there.
Every plan begins with your goals for your child's future, your family's values, and an assessment of your child's learning environment. Our method pairs the scientific method with Montessori principles: careful observation, independence, and learning that follows the child's readiness.

Screens aren't part of our early-years curriculum. Technology and AI literacy begin once a child is developmentally ready. Because every family uses technology differently, you can also opt into curated educational content aligned with your child's plan, so even entertainment reinforces what they're learning.
Every plan is individual.
Siblings, even twins and multiples, are assessed separately, each with their own goals. When children learn together, we group them by developmental level, not age.
We choose educators carefully.
Placed educators go through multi-stage screening and are matched to your child and your household.

Education Strategy Session
Family intake, a review of your child's existing work and records, and a 60-minute strategy consultation. You leave with your top three educational priorities, recommended next steps, and curated starter resources. This session doesn't include a direct assessment of your child.

A goal-setting consultation with you and an individual skills assessment of your child. You receive a strengths-and-gaps analysis, a learning profile, priority skills, a personalized 90-day learning plan, resources, and a results consultation.

A complete plan built for your child, for you or your own educator to follow.
Half-Year Custom Learning Blueprint
Everything in the Learning Snapshot, plus a six-month curriculum map, instructional sequence, materials list, milestones, mastery measures, a suggested learning rhythm, and advancement criteria.
$4,000Full-Year Custom Learning Journey
Everything in the Blueprint, extended to twelve months, with a mandatory reassessment and recalibration at six months, resource planning, and regression tracking.

Learning Environment Design
An in-person consultation in your home: a book, toy, and materials audit, shelving and storage, a rotation system, material sequencing, and layout and purchasing recommendations. Whole-home projects are quoted individually.

Sourcing, screening, interviews, matching, reference and background-check coordination, compensation guidance, offer support, and onboarding. Includes one replacement search within the 90-day replacement window.
20% of first-year pay ($12,000 min)Recalibration Assessment
A full reassessment and a rebuilt plan calibrated to your child's current level. It restores the remaining time on a lapsed or interrupted Blueprint or Journey.
$2,000Siblings
Part of every engagement is shared across a household: parent coaching, family strategy, environment design, and scheduling. The rest is built for one child. Sibling rates reflect that split: 25% off for a second child and 35% off for a third child and each additional child. Learning Environment Design and Educator Search are priced once per household.
Children are grouped by developmental level, not age. When siblings span more than two levels, they're served in more than one group, which we'll quote after the Learning Snapshot.

Danielle is a classically trained scientist with a master's degree in bioinformatics and a lifelong love of genetics.
Her work taught her that no two people are the same, not even at the level of a single nucleotide. She believes our lives should be shaped around that truth.
Education should fit the person. Health should fit the person. And the world will be at its best when every individual in it has what they need to thrive.
Teach one family at a time.
Camber places skilled educators in private homes to carry out personalized learning plans. You teach; we handle the plan, the matching, and the family relationship.
We're placing educators in Missouri now, with North Carolina opening in 2027. We welcome applications from everywhere. It helps us decide where Camber goes next.
The application takes about 15 minutes. Camber never charges educators a fee.
